Credits and billing
Tulina charges for the data it buys on your behalf. Credits are how that is measured — one number, whatever the source, so you never have to hold five vendor price lists in your head.
Who this is for. Anyone using a Tulina workspace. Only an org admin can change the plan or the payment method.
What spends a credit
Only the tools that buy data through Tulina's own keys. Everything else — running processes, agents, tables, documents, searching French public records — costs nothing.
One credit is one cent — €0.01. So the credit column below is also the price in cents.
| What you do | Credits |
|---|---|
| Look up a LinkedIn profile or company | 1 each |
| Run a web search or scrape a page | 1 each |
| Search job postings | 10 per search |
| Search companies by their tech stack | 30 per search |
| Find a work email | 5 per email found |
| Find a personal email | 20 per email found |
| Find a mobile number | 60 per number found |
| Keep a messaging account connected | 1,000 per month, each |
Enrichment is charged per result found, never per attempt: a lookup that finds nothing costs nothing.
The live rates are always on your Settings → Plans page, which reads them from the same source this table does.
Your own keys are free
Connect your own API key to a connector and calls on it cost zero credits — you are already paying that vendor directly. This is per connector, so you can mix: your own Apollo key, Tulina's credits for the rest.
The one that surprises people
Each connected messaging account costs 1,000 credits a month (€10), whether you send one message or a thousand. LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram — one price per connected account, per calendar month, counted from the month you connect.
Two connected accounts is 2,000 credits a month before you have done anything else. On a free workspace, that is the whole allowance.
How many credits you have
Free workspaces get 2,000 credits in total — not per month. They are there so you can try things properly before deciding. A free workspace can connect one messaging account.
Paid plans get credits every month, and they reset when your plan renews. Unused credits do not carry over.
| Plan | Per month | Credits included |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | €99 | 5,000 |
| Teams | €299 | 5,000 |
You can choose a bigger credit volume when you subscribe or at any time after: 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 or 100,000 a month. The price shown on the pricing page is for the whole volume, not for the credits above the included 5,000. Solo goes up to 50,000; 100,000 is a Teams volume. Paying yearly is 20% cheaper.
When you run out
We warn you, then we stop — there is no overage bill. You will never get an invoice you did not choose.
At 80% a notice appears on your Credits page.
At 100% the connectors that run on Tulina's keys are paused. Calls to them are refused until you have credits again, and the app tells you which ones.
What keeps working: everything on your own keys, your messaging, your processes, agents, tables and documents. Only the paid data sources stop.
Getting going again
Three ways, and all of them take effect within a couple of minutes — access comes back on the next pass, not on the click:
- Move to a bigger credit volume on Settings → Plans. Prorated immediately.
- Subscribe, if you are on a free workspace.
- Ask us. If you hit the wall mid-month and it was not what you expected, tell us — we would rather fix the plan than leave you stuck.
Your credits also reset on their own when your plan renews.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details never touch Tulina — you enter them on Stripe's own page, and we only ever see whether a payment succeeded.
Your card is charged when you subscribe, then on each renewal. Invoices and receipts are in the billing portal, reachable from the sidebar.
If a payment fails
Stripe retries on its own over the following days, and it usually sorts itself out without you doing anything.
Meanwhile a notice appears in the app with the date things will pause. After seven days without a successful payment, your paid data sources are paused, exactly as if you had run out of credits — your own keys and your data are untouched.
Update your card from the notice, or from the billing portal in the sidebar. Access comes back within a couple of minutes.
Reading your usage
Settings → Plans shows what you have used this period, broken down by tool, with the number of calls and what each cost. If something looks wrong there, that page is the right thing to send us — it has everything we need to check.
